Note on capitalizing PerfTech: From 2005 to 2011, the name was PERFtech, since PERF was the standard abbreviation for the Department of Performance Studies. In 2011, when our projects became better defined as Performance Technology, a distinct initiative within the department, the capitalization was changed to PerfTech.
